Re: Death, Life and Ex's

They may have been better off from the point of view that the populace didn't increase so much. If the population increases too much without the world being polluted, simple starvation will eventually lower it again. The problem is people don't take responsibility for their world, which in this case can be done easily through use of contraception. Sex is there for humans to enjoy, but like almost everything, doing it without thought doesn't lead to much good.

Regardless though, at the moment human problems are contained on their planet. They do not and cannot affect other sentient life directly. When humans develop the technology to leave their solar system this will change, and other species will not take kindly to the intolerance and pollution being brought to them. This is one of the reasons why it could be said to be a 'good' thing humans are likely to destroy themselves, because they are not yet able to destroy other sentient races before they do.

Technological progress brings problems as well as benefits, and therefore must be carefully controlled. The problem with it is that in the old days, an intelligent madman could not cause too much damage, at least globally speaking. Now, there is a huge danger that one hacker with a grudge against some country could actually launch high yield weapons against said country, and begin a war.

Despite the raw power and radiation in nuclear weapons, greater but more subtle dangers exist. You are now beginning detailed research into genetically engineered biological weapons, as well as nanotechnology. You are now in a position where you cannot avoid the production of such weapons, and soon, a miscalculation could cost society its existence. Therefore, if humans want to survive, they'll have to change their ideas a bit. Not likely I know, but the possibility hasn't been completely negated.

Everyone will have a specific moment in their subconscious mind as to when to die, but they do not have it throughout their lives. They leave when they feel they have nothing further to experience by staying. The subconscious mind can pick up on things the conscious mind cannot, for example it often hears sounds the conscious mind cannot and it is very sensitive to EM fields. It also works faster, because it is not subject to the same hesitation the conscious mind experiences. Sad though it may seem, people do die at the most inopportune times to other humans. Nearly everyone has to leave someone behind. The subconscious mind knows that it doesn't matter in the great scheme of things though, which is why the conscious mind often cannot accept its decision.

The real problem with making change for the better is not so much that people like the world as it is, but that they don't care enough about it to make the changes. As long as they're reasonably ok, it's not worth protesting over or demanding change. People in power know this, and careful manipulation allows them to get away with a considerable amount, without the general public stopping it.

Some paths have been entirely closed to you, for example you can't bring back the dead. Most of what you want however is still attainable. It all depends on the choices you make now. You lost a boyfriend who was no loss at all, and there are always more potential lovers out there. Happiness is not unavailable, but one would have to ask what would make you happy?

So, you've now seen the other girlfriend and Damien's obviously still got an interest in you. Of course, one would think that since you and Damien have split up, and you have no interest in going back to him, that it would make no odds to you what he's doing now.

Still, if it works for you...

Ha, not as drunk as we got you that night, but enough to lower your inhibitions I think! Best to stay away from the chav's though, might be best to avoid Damien too.

Love, light and medical experiments,

Gabriel
